People Of The Sun is a social enterprise collaborating with artisans in Malawi.

These whimsical yet functional animal wall hooks are hand-carved from jacaranda wood and painted by hand using a lead-free paint with a matte finish. Hooks are can be used to add a whimsical touch to a gallery wall, or can be utilized as clothing or accessory hooks either alone or together in a fun grouping.

Through fostering relationships, encouraging collaboration, funding start up enterprises and offering interest-free loans, The People Of The Sun can help low income artisans build sustainable businesses that can empower the artisans, their families and their communities.

Hooks are available in two sizes seven colours

Medium: 30cm tall

Colours:  Natural, Black, Stone, Misty White, Mustard, Peacock, Terracotta

As each piece is entirely hand carved, no two are alike, and as with any hand crafted piece, imperfections should be expected and celebrated for their individuality.
